Green Enamel Anheuser Busch Corkscrew Advertising Pocketknife

Considerably Rare, this knife is a fine example of one of 90 different varieties of Adolphus Busch stanhope pocket knives. The stanhope is a picture of Adolphus sitting at his desk with a beer. The enameling is beautiful with vivid colors, Green, Dark Green, Red, Gold and Copper. The curved serrated wire cutter, often thought to be a cigar cutter, is great as are the blades showing only considerate use. However, the corkscrew has been broken at it's tip, but has been refurbished to a nice workable point. The long blade has Anheuser-Busch Germany inscribed on one side and Wiebusch & Hilger New York on the other side. The short blade has Anheuser-Busch Germany inscribed on one side. The corkscrew has the number 78 stamped at the base. Overall this is great example of one of the many pocket knives Adolphus and his salesman handed out as calling cards. Certain to be a prize piece in any pocketknife, corkscrew, or brewery collection.
