Description

Antique turned cattle bone monocular charm with a stanhope showing five views of Civil War battlefield sites and memorials in Gettysburg PA. Originally sold as a souvenir in the late 1800's, most were used as a fob on a pocket-watch chain. It retains it's original golden bale and ring . It measures 11/16" tall by 3/8" wide. The stanhope is very clear and the pictures are quite bold presenting five views of famous Gettysburg battlefield attractions. It is titled "GETTYSBURG PA" and marked "MADE IN FRANCE". The five views are separately titled as follows:
