Victorian Era Carved Bog Oak Kettle Cauldron Stanhope Souvenir Charm Fob with View of Snowdon, Wales

Nicely turned and carved figural Cauldron Kettle celebrating early Pagan culture of the UK. A very charming, collectible Victorian stanhope charm turned and carved from bog oak in the shape of a Boiling Cauldron. This one sits on 3 nice metal legs and has nice detail carved into the kettle. Complete with original eyelet and ring. This cauldron is topped with a lid. If you peer through the stanhope lens, which is mounted sideways through the center, you can see 6 tiny images of Snowdon, Wales. Today, Snowdon is actually the 3rd most visited place in Wales drawing over half a million tourists each year. The stanhope image is in very fine condition and is clear and easy to see. This is an early piece circa 1880 as it is marked neither France or McKee Dublin. The image is titled "A Souvenir of SNOWDON" and comprised of six individually titled photos.
