Parasol Umbrella Fist Finial Sewing Needle Case with Stanhope views of Ramsgate England
This turned bone figural parasol umbrella needle case has a finely carved fist or figa as the handle. The fist handle unscrews to open the needle case. This parasol needle case has fine details and a nice tawny patina. The case measures 4 3/8" long and 1/2" wide. The stanhope is held by the fist and shows a multi-image view of Ramsgate England.The stanhope is titled SOUVENIR OF RAMSGATE above the photo. This view is in original condition but the focus of the lens seems a bit blurry in this example. There are some crackled areas along the outside but they are having no effect on the image.
