Antique Bog Oak Horse Hoof with Horseshoe Stanhope Charm Fob

A very unusual Bog oak fob charm pendant with a stanhope lens. This Fob Charm is in the form of a Horse hoof with a Horseshoe. The hoof is carved from bog oak and the horseshoe is a silver metal that we believe to be 800 or sterling silver. It also retains it's original metal eyelet and larger ring. The metal horseshoe has some engraved detail and the carved hoof also shows some detail and texture. It's a very cool charm because it's a bit different from most stanhope bog oak charms. Such charms are more often animals like pigs, owls and cats while others are cauldrons and kettles. This is the only hoof we've ever had. It is a McKee Dublin piece but it is not marked so, making it one of the earlier bog oak productions. The stanhope lens view shows 6 views of Killarney, Ireland.
