Bone Carved Figural Stanhope Hand Charm

This beautifully carved hand is in the form of a closed fist that is holding the stanhope. Detail of the carving is quite good and includes even the tiny individual fingernails. The overall condition is excellent too! The stanhope is a near perfect image titled "REPLICA OF OLD FORT DEARBORN / CENTURY OF PROGRESS WORLD'S FAIR 1933 / CHICAGO". It is also marked "FRANCE" on the right side. Showing even more detail than the charm itself, the photo depicts multiple buildings, trees & a flagpole. This is certainly one of the finest figural hand charms we've seen.
