Description

This miniature figural barrel stanhope charm pendant has been made from white satin spar, a close relative of feldspar or selenite. The satin spar has a look much like that of tiger eye. The stanhope barrel charm has been accented with a gold wire wrap that forms the bale. It also has an attached gold jump ring. This barrel charm is in generally nice condition but it is quite worn from years of loving use. There are no cracks or other maladies. The charm pendant measures about 3/4" across and 1" tall making it one of the larger size Niagara Falls barrel charms.It weighs 6.5 grams. The stanhope view can be seen by looking into the end of the barrel and boasts a microphoto showing six vintage photos of Niagara Falls, New York. The view is titled SOUVENIR OF NIAGARA FALLS in the center of the six views. The word FRANCE is marked under the title. The stanhope image is clear and easy to see. The six microphotos are individually titled as follows:
