Product Features
We are pleased to offer this rare ivory needle case. It is 4 1/2" long and carved with great detail. The tiny black & white eyes are glass. The top that screws into the fish's mouth is in the form of a bobber and is also where the stanhope finds it home. The delicately thin shaft appears to have been broken and repaired at one time. The stanhope shows 2 views, both of which are mountain scenes. The first scene is titled 'BOTTOMLESS POOL' and the second is 'CHIMNEY ROCK'. The right side is marked 'Made in France'.
