 Meet Howard Melnick, the
Stanhope Museum's Curator. Howard is an interesting man & one of Stanhope
Microworks biggest assets...........He has been collecting stanhopes for
over 20 years and possesses one of the largest & most diverse collection
of stanhopes known. Many of the stanhopes on exhibit in the museum have
been graciously donated by Howard. His study of stanhopes has been quite
scientific in approach which would naturally be expected. He has used his
skills as a ENT surgeon performing microsurgery aid in repairing &
restoring valuable stanhopes which would otherwise be lost.
He is happy to help you identify your stanhope and is always interested in
seeing and studying new pieces. He can also access the value & appraisals
are also available. His skills are also useful in helping you to design
your next personal stanhope collectible. He is very active in our
restoration department leading SMW's restoration specialists toward
historic correctness.. If you have a "stanhopeless" item, he can tell you
what would be a suitable replacement image. He has provided many original
examples to Stanhope MicroWorks for use in making reproduction pictures &
replacement lenses for stanhopeless items.
